Data Centre Maintenance – 22nd – 24th April 2024
We will be performing maintenance in our London and Maidenhead Data Centers on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of April between 11 pm and 3 am.

No downtime is expected but as with any upgrade or maintenance work, there are risks present.

What will happen
There will be no impact on 22/04/2024 23/04/2024 and 24/04/2024, during the maintenance window from 23:00 to 03:00 (UK Time)

When will the work be carried out
The maintenance work will carried out on the following days
22nd April 23:00 (UK Time) and last until 03:00 (UK Time) on 23rd April
23rd April 23:00 (UK Time) and last until 03:00 (UK Time) on 24th April
24th April 23:00 (UK Time) and last until 03:00 (UK Time) on 25th April

Who will be completing the work
Dell EMC support will complete all of the work remotely.

Will I experience downtime
No downtime is expected but as with any upgrade or maintenance work, there are risks present.

To mitigate these risks the Dell SAN system is an active/active system and the partner service processor will take over the tasks of the upgraded service processor during the reboot that is required once the firmware has been applied.

All storage paths to each storage processor are also served via redundant storage fabrics.

Iomart has also established the readiness for the upgrades and will perform a health check before commencing.

In the unlikely event of a firmware upgrade failure, the firmware will not be installed and the system will remain as is.
